Today, Sam's legacy continues with his daughter, Sally Baker Simon, president of Sam Baker Books.

About Sam Baker
Sam Baker was a United States Marine, a technology pioneer, father, and—most unexpectedly—a children’s author who began his writing career at 95.
His five books remind us it’s never too late to dream, create, and share.
Sam passed away in 2025 at the age of 102, but his books remain a testament to his passion for storytelling and his belief in the power of literacy.
